Due to several Travel teams playing in Presidents Day tournaments here and away this weekend, we will need to reschedule some House ice times for this weekend:

Sat 2/13 -- AE(W) 1:15 -- Squirt Heikkila vs Henslee -- CANCELLED and will be rescheduled for a later date
Sat 2/13 -- AE(W) 2:30 -- Mite Bullard -- will be rescheduled due to players in Travel games at AE (Mini-Mites are still a go for this time slot)
Sat 2/13 -- AE(W) 3:45 -- Mite Ferguson vs Rakosky -- CANCELLED and will be rescheduled for a later date
Sat 2/13 -- BIC 5:00 -- PW Clark and Bant/HS Chhabra -- CANCELLED and rescheduled for Wed Mar 10 BIC 7:30pm

We are off and running for 2010 and your board members are working hard to ensure the the fall OKCYHA season is a success. Do you remember riding a merry-go-round on the playground when you were kid? If so, you probably remember what it felt like to get it going so fast that you got disoriented, but couldn't get off because it was going too fast. That's the feeling we have trying to keep up with all that's going on. Let me give you a sense of some of the things we are working on:

* We have restructured the OKCYHA board adding additional key positions to increase the efficiency of operations. We are now in the process of filling those new positions. * Earlier this month we welcomed Stephanie Desjardins as the new Public Relations Director and Chris Prutzman as the new Director of Hockey Operations. They bring lots of energy and great ideas to the association.

* Also, welcome aboard to the OKCYHA Travel Team Manager Coordinator - Christina Boutin. Christina is no newcomer to OKCYHA and will be hard at work preparing for next years travel season.

* We are in the process of identifying a new logo for OKCYHA. We want you to choose the new logo so we will have several designes available at the rinks soon for you to vote on.

* We are currently working in putting together a OKCYHA Scholarship Fund Committee. Watch for more details on scholarship opportunities in the near future.
